Our St Andrew's Identity
St Andrew’s Catholic College takes Saint Andrew as its patron. Saint Andrew, also known as Andrew the Apostle, and the older brother to Saint Peter. Andrew was a fisherman and follower of Saint John the Baptist. When Jesus walked along the shore of Galilee and saw Andrew and Simon Peter fishing, he called them to become “fishers of men.” Andrew is known as the first called to discipleship.
St Andrew’s Catholic College has a rich history of forming young people and its community by using the example of Saint Andrew, who lived, learned from, and was a witness to Jesus Christ.
Our mission statement, charism, and college values inspire our community to journey together in relationship with Christ and each other as disciples of the 21st century.
