At St Andrew's, we believe every pupil should have access to the joy of musical discovery. We actively encourage all students to learn an instrument and become involved with the ensembles and choirs on offer.
All students who have instrumental lessons at the College join one of our ensembles as soon as they learn the first five notes. All students are actively encouraged to sing in one of the many choirs and projects at the College. We are very proud of our growing musical tradition at St Andrew's and boasts some of the most highly regarded instrumental staff in the area and beyond.
Free instrumental taster programmes are facilitated by specialist music teachers in small groups. These sessions are offered on top of our normal weekly music sessions. For every Year 2 and Year 3 programme, we run a recital where parents are invited to attend and hear what we've been up to and learn more about other programmes offered as part of our ongoing music partnerships.
