St Andrew's Men
St Andrew's Men (SAM) was established by 2014 College Captain Harrison Symes and his legacy has continued with a large portion of the active members from Year 12, with some members from Year 11. The group focus is on:
- Having an impact of positive change.
- Being seen as role models for younger students.
- Connecting with external groups.
- Raising awareness to issues associated with men, including mental health and taking a stand against domestic violence.
The young men in SAM truly live the values and mission of St Andrew's Catholic College. Awareness has been raised through a range of events, including social events with younger students, guest speakers and evening workshops led by external agencies. The money raised supports both local and national organisations.
