Fees and Levies
To provide quality learning environments for students, fees and levies are charged to families. These
charges assist St Andrew’s to meet the shortfall from Government funding sources. Amounts
charged will vary depending on which Year level a child is in.
As a guide, typical yearly charges for a single Primary School student (depending on year level),
range between $3,396 and $3,992 per year. For a single Secondary School student (depending on
year level), the range is between $5,754 and $6,898 per year. Per family costs also apply.
To assist families meet school fee commitments, discounts are available :
- where more than one child attends Catholic schools in the Cairns Diocese
- to holders of certain categories of Health Care and Pensioner Concession cards
- to families experiencing genuine financial difficulties.
