St Andrew’s
Catholic College, Redlynch Valley

A P-12 College celebrating each individual; promoting excellence in learning and teaching; and fostering active community participation.

Sport

Sport plays a very important part in our life at St Andrew’s.

We strongly believe in the benefits of both individual and team sports and all students are encouraged to participate whatever their ability. Learning to work and play as a team teaches trust, increases resilience and builds confidence and self-esteem; all valuable qualities which can be transferred to everyday life.

Sports undertaken at the College include:

  • Athletics
  • Australian Rules Football
  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Cross Country
  • Football (Soccer)
  • Futsal
  • Rubgy (Union and League)
  • Swimming
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball

At St Andrew’s the focus is always on growing the ‘culture’ around the sport and making sure our teams are competing at the highest level whilst continuing to promote the College’s values and ethos.

The College community take pride in our students own personal and collective achievements at all levels. We always want our students to enjoy sport and continue to develop as young individuals.

In recent years the strength and depth of sporting talent has increased and we are enjoying an improving reputation in Sport.  There have been many individual and team successes at local and interstate level and our aim is to build upon this each year.
