Sport plays a significant part in our life at St Andrew’s.
The College has an established sporting program which is steadily growing in tradition. We firmly believe in the benefits of both individual and team sports, and all students are encouraged to participate whatever their ability. Learning to work and play as a team teaches trust, increases resilience and builds confidence and self-esteem; all valuable qualities which can be transferred to everyday life.
Sports undertaken at the College include:
• Athletics
• Australian Rules Football
• Basketball
• Cricket
• Cross Country
• Football (Soccer)
• Futsal
• Netball
• Running Club
• Rugby (Union and League)
• Swimming
• Tennis
• Touch Football
• Volleyball
Although success in competitive sport is important to our College, our fundamental objective is to foster interest and enjoyment in physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a fun, fulfilling environment.
